It doesn’t matter how proficient you are at your job or your profession, if you find yourself working in another country with a language that is totally different than yours…You my friend, don’t know JACK!!!
I literally feel like I don’t know how to communicate or cook! For some reason everything feels brand new. The stoves, the potato peelers, pots, pans oh my goodness! Thankfully this is only the second week, if I am at week 4 saying this then I have bigger problems! Anyway this are still going well, I have been told by many, including chefs that I am at the best restaurant there is and what I have seen it is true. They use the freshest ingredients, simple, and they make sure they pay close attention to detail. I have picked up a few recipes that I can bring home and some good baked goods too (Edreys watch out!). La Taverns del Leone lays out the best Buffett of fresh salads, vegetables and antipasti! I will snap a picture and upload it.

I’m sure you are doing amazing to anyone else’s expectations! BTW – I plan on living at your house for the first few weeks you get home to be an official tester for all of these different recipes – I’m sure Edreys and the boys won’t mind!
